WHAT IS MANANSIS?
Picture yourself on a small island off the coast of Maine. It is peaceful, quiet; the kind of place you see on postcards, beckoning you to visit the beautiful "Pine Tree State." Now, picture that same place after a violent storm filled with residents that are shaken to the core by the discovery of the body of a mysterious dead girl. Citizens go missing, rumours of ghosts, and other strange happenings plague the island that is now disconnected from the outside world.

This basic storyline was the foundation for this entire branding endeavor. For an entire semester, I wrote, photographed, and design every aspect of this fictional television show in hopes that I could create a product line that would make it seem real. Through posters and DVD box sets, I wanted to create artifacts that were real enough to put on store shelves.
